CAUSE SERIOUS RIOTS. [Umted Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copy righ t. ] (Received 10.20 a.m.) BERLIN, July 17. During serious rioting at Gelsenkirchen which is a hotbed of Communism, Communists seized control of three streets and at a pre-arranged signal, street lamps. in the entire district were smashed and thirty shops plundered. A hundred shots were fired. The police placed cordon round the district in an attempt to clear the streets at dawn. There were further riots at Dusseldorf, Coblenz and Darmstadt. The ex-Kaiser's son, Prince August Wilhelm, was involved in a street fight at Hamelin, where he intended to speak on behalf of the Nazis. A hostile crowd angrily protested. The Nazis violently attempted to disperse the crowd. The disorders continued till the earlv morning.
