GREY BOAVLING CLUB
At the annual meeting of the Grey Bowling Club hold last evening, the election of officers resulted as follows: [ —President: Air D. McKay; (reelected); Vice-President: Air E. R. A less (re-elected); Committee: Alessrs T. Brobner, O. Strongman, H. AlcCorkindale, S. Shannon, J. Peek and AY. Blair (re elected from fourteen nominations); Auditor; Air J. R. Leitch senr., (re-elected); Secretary and Treasurer: Air A. A. Adams (reelected) : Delegate to the AVest Coast Centre: Air .las. Ring (re-elected). Alessrs 1 AlcKay, Blair, Whibley, Steel, Brebner and Peek were nominated for three positions on the Selection Committee, and on a ballot being taken, Alessrs McKay, Brebner, and Peek were elected. The President, in returning thanks for his re-election, said; that the coming year would be a difficult one and he asked all members to co-operate with the committee. The green was in a bad way owing to the incursion of the grass grub and they would probably not be able to use all of the green for the whole of the season. Tl;e grub was multiplying very., rapidly and its destruction was n very difficult problem.
