Loan interest rates have eased U a marked extent in Melbourne, withii the past few weeks. Large sums, T is reported, are now- being offered a‘ four per cent, interest, which is tin lowest figure for ordinary businesscredits for- several years. Som© of the banks, meanwhile, ai\ not encouraging, any further -additionto their, deposits, which is merely a matter of temporary policy.
