BOWLING COUNCIL
NEW CENTRE AT BULLER.

CHRISTCHURCH, July 9
, The annual meeting of delegates of the Dominion Bowling Council was held to-day. The action of the executive in making a grant of £IOO to clubs in the earthquake area was confirmed and it was decided that all further subscriptions received he hayded over.
It was decided that the annual Tournament he held at Christchurch in the second week in January 1932,.with the order of play, s\ »:em of play, and time limit the same as at Auckland in January, 1931. It was resolved that the Council should perserve in endeavouring to have summer time extended over the Easter.
There was an application for a new Bowling Centre to be known as the Buffer Centre, with its headquarters at Westuort. Jt was left in the hands of the President.and Executive.
Mr W. G. Brass was appointed Secretary; and Mr H, Kilner, Audit w. The local members of the Council, Messrs Good, Wood, Oakley and EfforL were appointed the Executive, Si lid the Executive of the Christchurch Celitrb was appointed the Tournament Committee.
