SATURDAY’S GAMES. The senior, gamp Rivals v, Cobden is set down for Cass Square to-morrow afternoon at 3 o’clock, and should provide an interesting one. Both teams have been putting up good exhibitions, and a fortnight ago Cobden ran Excelsiors very close on Cass Square, when with a little luck they should have worn Rivals have been steadily improving, and should manage to ho!4 the visitors. . } ...* • . . ‘ ••;-
- The-.-other Henlor games: are . -Excel* triors v. Stars and Blaketown v. United both at GreymoutU. The Excelsiors should be able to hold their own, though they will need their best team to do so.
The junior game set down is Kiwi v. Rimu on Cass Square at'S’ p.m., this being the first.game of the Breeze Shield Competition,-
The following will represent Excelsior seniors against Stars at* Greymputh : —Eager, Thompson,, Freitas, Bannister, King, Wright (2), M. Kelly, Davidson, McCleary, Hughes, Muir,’ Schroder, Martyn, Stevenson. Cars will eave the Training Shed at 12.45 sharp.
