ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIPS. _ lim&ed Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copy ngn i LONDON, July 4. At Stamford Bridge athletic meeting the hundred yards foot race was won by Page (Britain) in ten seconds. The two hundred and twenty yards flat was won by R. Murdoch (Britain) in 22$ secs. The 440 yards was won by G. L. Rampling (Britain) in 48 3-5 secs. Barsi (Hungary) was second and Rinmere (Austria) third. The half-mile run was won by Sampson (holder) in 114/4-5 seconds. Dr. Peltzer was third. In the mile race, R. H. Thomas (holder) won in 256 2-5 seconds. The four miles was won by J. A. Burns (Britain) in 1189 2-5 seconds. In the 120 yards hurdles, Lord Burgliley (holder) won in 14 4-5 seconds. The 440 yards hurdles was won by Facelli (Italy) in 54 2-5 seconds. Ares. koug (Sweden) was second, and Lord Burgliley (holder) was third. The two miles steeplechase resulted: —Evenson (Britain) 1; Bailey (holder) 2. The seven mile walk resulted: —— Frigerio (Italy) first. Hyde (the holder) was disqualified.
