Perkins united in marriage Capt. Geoffrey Heal, of Wellington, aideeamp to the Administrator and Miss Helen Burkitt, of Sydney. The bride was given away by the Administrator, whose eldest daughter Mary was bridesmaid. A reception and dance given by the Administrator and Mrs Hart, at Government House, Vailima, was largely attended. The young couple leave on Thursday afternooh by the Maui Pomare for New Zealand.

BOMBAY, July 1. Tragedy was enacted on the sands at Junu, a fashionable seaside resort of Bombay, yesterday, when an Australian airman, Captain Harry Darby, suicided by poisoning. Darby was the airman responsible for the death of a rickshawrnan on -March 27th at Karachi Darby left two letters, one of them saying he was suiciding, but giving no reason. He bad been living on a lavish scale at a hotel at -Juiiu. VATICAN AND FASCISM.
