CHANGE OF POLICY. (Unitea Press Association — By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright-J LONDON, June 30. The “Daily Herald” states: “The Bank of England is about to change its financial policy. The Bank is abandoning its deflation in favour of a slight inflation.” The “Daily Herald” expresses the opinion that this is the best news from Thread needle Street for a long time. It may be hoped that the joint stock banks will follow this new line with courage as well as caution.
