A BRUTAL MURDER

OVER NIAGARA FALLS

Press A»»ooi&uioii— By Klewtrn

Telegraph—Copyright)

VANCOUVER, June 29

A Niagara Falls message states that a frantic man went over the Horseshoe Falls in a boat in the full view of thousands, of horrified people, who, with the police, were too late to effect a rescue. The victim had perished when his boat was recovered. It was then discovered that it contained a tell tale oar, that was half sawn through.

The police assumed that the man was the victim of the vengeance of rival rum runners, who had sawn his oars during his absence while delivering liquor. Only when he was returning to the Canadian side would he notice that his oars were useless, thus leaving him .at .the ..mercy, of the Falls.
