SATURDAY’S GAMES. Tho senior game set down for Cass Square to-morrow afternoon is that between Cobden v. Excelsior. The Cobden team is an improving on e and should extend the home team to the utmost. in any event the Excelsior forwards will require to show better combination than they have in their last game or two.
Rivals play Blaketown at Greymouth, and with a share of the luck should be able to return a win. Their pack is now working well.
The junior game set down is at Rimu, where Excelsiors, met the local team. Air D. Breeze will he referee.
The following players will represent the Rival Club in their match with Blaketown at Greymouth to-morrow : .Carter, Stopforth (2), Dawson, Houston, Pfahlert (?) Webster, Monk, Pierson, Schist, O’Connor, Mitchell, Martin. Smyth, Hutchison, Richards. Bus leaves Newmans garage at 1.15 p.m. The following will represent Excelsior team against C'obden: —R. Kelly, White, Freitas, Palmer, Wright (2), Hughes (2), M. Kelly, Davidson. Muir, King, Martin, Schroder. Stevenson. Players to meet at 2.45 p.m. sharp.
