A WHIRLWIND
FOLLOWING THUNDERSTORM. CAUSES GREAT DAMAGE IN GERMANY. • (Times Cable). (Received tins uay. ai y. 25 a.m) LONDON, June 19. The “Times” Berlin correspondent' says three persons were killed, eighty injured and 13l> houses wrecked by a wniriwind which swept Else Valley, Westphalia. It uprooted beams, scatfolding, roofs, and fencing which were Diown into the air. Sturdy trees were uprooted. Tiles hurtling m the uncaused most of the casualties. It was followed by a terrific tnunderstorni. Lightning struck a big farm at Mecklenburg and set. fire to a sheep shed burning four hundred sheep.
