FRANCE SEEKS COMPLETE OWNERSHIP. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright ) LONDON, June 18. The “Morning Post’s diplomatic correspondent understands that ; iollovving on an original suggestion from France secret negotiations have recently been progressing between France and Great Britain, with regard to a proposal for the latter’s cessibn of her rights in the New Hebrides, but that there is no intention of acceding to the proposal, as Australian interests must be considered.
