A BIG ESTATE. (United PrlM A*»oc)ation— By Eleotn Telegraph—Copyright). IpNDON, June 18. The will has been proved at the island o-f Jersey of the late Lord Trent (founder of “Boots . Limited,” which firm under his and Lady Boot’s control was very prosperous, having been one of the leading figures in Nottingham, and having been knighted in 1900, and made a peer in 1929). The will does not disclose the. amount of the estate, but three hundred and fifty thousand sterling has been left to charity. The residue is left to his widow. A codicil to the will announces he had abandoned his British domicile, in Jersey. ' The fortune is estimated at between two and three millions.
