NEW VACANCIES TO-DAY. NOT TO BE FILLED. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association , WELLINGTON, June 15. ■ The term of appointment of Hon. V. H. Reid, of Auckland, and Hon A. S. Malcolm, of Southland, as Legislative Councillors, expires to-morrow. Hon Mr Forbes stated to-day that these vacancies will not he fdled. This decision is in pursuance of a policy of economy announced previously.
