A CLAIM FAILS
NOT NEGLIGENCE. (By Telegraph — I'er Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 16. A workman, H. S. Tennant, today claimed £!£> 18s from Jenkins and Mack Ltd, in respect to injuries received when struck by a chisel which fell one hundred leet from a. plumber above, at the new Commercial Travellers Club building. Mr Page S. M. classed the accident as (similar to spilling a cup of tea or an ink bottle, one of those accidents liable to happen ia.t any time, and not necessary to entail negligence. He did not think there was any negligence on the path of the contractors or their servant, and gave judgment for the defendant firm.
