John Gialdini who was associated with llatry and his colleagues in London and who was arrested on March li. 1030, in pleading, alleged that, the Hatryites in London had swindled him of 660,000.
A deposition by llatry stated that Gialdini was conversant with all the affairs of the llatry group. Ha try added: “We have no animus against him. 1 should hate to think that he is going to share my late.” Gialdini was sentenced to one year’s imprisonment, hut many months which lie has already spent in gaol will he died noted from his sentence. He was also ordered to pay damages of an unspecified amount to Sir Gilbert Garnsev, representing the llatry companies’ estate, which was sequestrated at the. time of the arrest of Gialdini. Gialdini is appealing.
