WELLINGTON, June 10

A great deal was looked for by Australians from. Subjects in which this would particularly apply were land; and income taxation, death duties, public works, electoral, , fruit, meat and produce iiispection, representation in London, and in’ mines. , There was, as far as he could see, a general acceptance of the principle of sacrifice, in a cheerful spirit which was the ’best augury for Australia’s future.
