CRICKET

NEW ZEALAND TOUR.

AGAINST SOMERSET,

ANOTHER drawn game

(Special to Press Association)

(Received this day at. 9.20 a.m) BATH, June 9

The match against Somerset was continued) Rain after lunch prevented a definite result.

The weather was overcast this morning and rain overnight caused a twenty-five minutes delay in the start. Weir dismissed Earle and Wellard quickly. Marshall played freely until he was bowled by Alleott.

Pouring rain caused an adjournment in the morning but on play being resumed Burrough and Pratten added 33 before lunch. Burrough batted well defying numerous bowling changes. Heavy rain fell throughout the afternoon, rendering further play impossible and the abandonment caused considerable disappointment as .there was ai prospect of an interesting finish.
