The Prime Minister, Mr Bennett, who is here attending the funeral of Cardinal Rouleau, announced to-day that tile session of the Imperial conference. scheduled for Ottawa in August, has been.adjourned; and that the official statement would ho made in Parliament on Monday. He said that ih e Conference luu, been postponed because ol the pending elections in Australia and in New Zealand, which would' prevent delegates from these connfrio.s attending during the autumn of this year. No date lias been set for a renewal of Die discussions, but it would likely be at the beginning of the next vear.
