TIMBER ORDERS

VICTORIA, (8.C.), June 7

X. S. Lougheed, provincial Minister of Lands to-day announced the reoeipt of an order for British Columbia lumber mills of four million feet of mr«ing timber for Port, Pirio, Australia. An order was also received from an English railway for a- million and a half of crossing timbers. Mr Lougheed said the orders were the best business news that British Columbia had received since the start of the depression.
