ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
GELIGNITE USED

WELLINGTON, May 8
About half past eight cn Saturday evening, ill • door of H. J. Freeman’s jeweller s shop, 13 Manners Street was shattered by a gPi.gnite explosion.
Police were soon on the scene and took charge, hut none of the jewellery stock wa - moved Irom the premises. I hen-gelignite had apparently been attached to the door handle, and was exploded by a quick time fuse.
