DAUGHTER’S EVIDENCE INSUFFICIENT. (By Teleyraph —Pet Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. June 1. Upon Air Justice Reed’s direction that it would be unsafe to convict on the evidence, the jury in tbe Supr-em, ' rt. w.tlwK.t leaving the box, found William Henry Robinson not guilty on tin* charge of incest. Commenting oil a lack of corroboration the Judge said that lie bad formed tbe opinion that it would be unsafe to convict on the story of a young girl i oncoming her fatiier's to—duct. There was a mass of evidence to the contrary. Lancelot Coodger, a horsebreaker, was to-night found not guilty of the theft of a horse.
