[United Press Association.—By Electrw Telegraph.—Copyright. 1 ROME, May 28. As the result of Fascist students breaking the windows of the Catholic Action Party's offices, as a protest against the distribution of tracts deal ing with martyrdom troops have paraded the city Jill night long. Tlie feeling ran high, lnit there was no incident. The recent clashes have caused a newspaper, the “Populadi Roma,” to publish a' bitter comment blaming the fSatholic Aetionist Party for tlu; tension, and saving that they had become definitely political as against the Fascist Party. The paper denies that the Fascists have insulted the Rope or the priests, and it suggests that Cardinal Pacelli, the Papal Secretary, resigned because he disagrees with the Catholic Aetionist Party’s policy. The Vatican authorities are rigorously inquiring into an incident at the Papal Chancery, situated in the centre of . Rome where a" group of students allegedly, tried to force an entrance, shouting, “Down with the Pope, and death to the Papacy 1” it is considered that such a demonstration, if it ever occurred, is a clear violation of the Lateran Treaty, which stipulated that the Pope’s person is snored, Some anti-Vatican demonstraters attacked a kiosk in the centre of Romo, and burned some copies'of the nows* paper, “Gsservatore Romano,”
