TWO RESIGNATIONS
OVER SALARY REDUCTIONS. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 9.25 n.m) SYDNEY, May 26., The Town Clerk and Chief Administrator, Mr W. G, Layton, has handed his resignation to the Lord,. Mayor. He hats been in the service, of. the City more than forty years. The Treasurer, Mr S. Solomon, also resigned. This is an outcome of'the Lord Mayor’s recent minute reducing their salaries.
