THURSDAY, MAY 21st. ■The programme to be broadcast from the model studio at the Auckland Radio Exhibition this evening will again feature Margherita Zel a iida, th e brilliant coloratura soprano/ of Dunedin, who is under special engagement to the Broadcasting Company. Also contributing will be the Orchestral Octet (under th e direction of Mr Harold Baxter), Mr Arthur Ripley (tenor), ' Barry Ingall’s Hawaiian Quartet, Messrs R a y Jury and Eric Waters (in xylophone and piano novelties), Mr Dan Flood (the well known humorist), the talented Moore Sisters (in instrumental trios), Miss Eileen Smithson (in character songs), Miss Phyllis Gribben (contralto), Mr Robert McNight (playing the English concertina) and Mr Reg. Morgan (baritone). During the evening items from the concert to be given in the Lewis Eady Hall by the Aeolian Orchestra’s concert will be broadcast. “Special programme from the model studio at the Auckland Radio Exhibition, featuring Margherita Zeland Jl , the eminent coloratura soprano, of Dunedin.” 2YA listeners will welcome the return. of a number of popular artists, including Mr H-. -Chert Russell, who will contribute a pot vpourri of humorous items including new songs and dialogue. Also on this programme .nil be Miss Mabel Dyer (contralto) iid Mr Edgar Swain (tenor), in solos and duets. The Salon .Orchestra, und'r Mr AL T. Dixon, wiU provide the instrumental music. Included on 3YA’s programme will ’ e a recital by Airs L. J. Greene ot six of her native Hungarian folk songs. Mrs S. M. Williamson will he accompanied by th<> Studio Octet, in ter renditions of “Angus Me Donald. ’ ’ ‘‘The Seconid Minuet” and “A PerfectDay.” Bn ss solos will be contributed by Mr Findlay Robb and there will b-i tenor s°ngs from Mr J. Haydn Williams. An instrumental programme will be provided by tb ( > Studio Octet under Air Harold Beck.

This evening another very fine programme will .be broadcast from the model studio at the Auckland R a dio V-xhihition. Piano solos will be given by Air Eric Bell, humorous numbers by Air Zant© Wood and novelty items by Air Elton Black and Afiss Alice Bennetto. Instrumental items will be given by Bert Klngslatid’s Saxophone Quartet, soprano solos by Airs Laetitia Parry and tenor solos by Mr Ralph Eskrigge. The 2YA OreT)e s trina, under Signor A. P.- Truda, will pl a y the overture ‘‘The Spartan,” a selection, ‘‘A Day in Paris,” fantasia “Ideal Aida” and the march “Tzigane.” Air E. H. .Tones, Welsh basso, will again delight listeners with four songs. 'Miss Mary Bald (contralto) a new comer to 2YA will be liearj in. three songs with orchestral accompaniment. The harmony Four, a clever instrumental combination will be heard in a. budget of popular songs and melodies. Also included on this programme is Aliss Ellis Gilders, pianist©. A new combination of instrumentalists, the Harold Comans Orchestra, will be heard from 3A'A, contributing j ■ saxophone' solos, one steps, waltzes and foxtrots, trombone solos and marches.
