LATE LOCALS.

The funeral of the late Mr H. T. Olsen, took place this morning privately and was attended by a number of friends. The Rev. Knights officiated in the absence of Rev. NayJor. A number of floral tributes were placed on the grave from sorrowing friends.

The Plunket ball will be held in the Soldiers’ Hall on Wednesday next and is bound to draw a bumper attendance. Elaborate preparations arc being made and the efforts of those concerned deserve success. The music to he supplied will he of the best. The programme consists of old time and modern dancing, so there will he a good time in store for all.
