CAIRO, May 11
The casualties among the natives were mostly due. to rifle miff shotgun fire. The casualties among the police were due to missiles, owing to civilians being forbidden to carry arms. The broken railway lines were barricaded. The labourers throw red hot holts, and bars at the heads of the police, who brought up a flying squad of steel helmets and of British constables, who drove off labourers.
