FRENCH PRESIDENCY
M. BRIAND’S FUTURE.

While a majority of the press are speculating on M. Brin lid's future, some predicting his immediate resignation, the Radical Socialist newspaper “Republique” attributes to Mr Briand himself a statement to the contrary. “The Presidential vote undoubtedly affects internal politics but is unconnected with the forejgn policy which has been approved many times by both House. 1 will continue to manage foreign affairs as long as 1 have a majority in both Houses. Moreover J have every intention of going to Geneva.
