ARAHUBA -STOCK SALE. The entry of stock at yesterday’s fixture comprised A 3 sheep and 42 head of cattle. There was a fair attendance of buyers with the result that almost a total clearance was made under the hammer. Prices were much in accord with those ruling at Addington. There were no big cattle yarded and the few steers sold made to 31s 6d per hundred. The offerings included several runners and these sold really well. W. Jeffries _ and Co. sold as follows : —For W. Olderog 1 runner at £3 os, 1 at £3 Is, 1 at £2 15s, 2 at £2 13s. 1 at £2, 1 heifer at £4 10s. For A. Sutherland 2 steers at £8 10s, 2 at £7 15s, 3 at £7. 3 runners at £6 Is, 2 cows at £6 10s, 2 heifers at £5, .1. cow at £5. For a client 4 heifers at £7 10, 2 steers at £lO, 2 at £B. For Gibb Bios. 60 lambs at 13s. For a client 31 lambs at 12s.
