An apology was made for the absence ol Air AloDoihtld . ~,, : , The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence: approved MATCHES FOR i MAY 16th SENIORS, Excelsiors v Cobdon. Rival- v. Blaketown. JUNIORS Excelsiors v. Rimu at Hokitika. No. 2 ground. (Ah' T). Breeze). In reply to a request from tile Rival Club it was resolved to inform the (lub tlmt no player can play for two Clubs in tile one season.
It was resolved that P. Muir’s appjicntion for ( .transfer, from ..Eycolsinvs to Rivals he recommended subjcc 4 - to him making .misonal application. The applications •of F. West for transfer from Rivals to Kiwis and of J. Edwards for reclassification were also recoin mended. The President moved that the Union unanimously decides to forego mm** Trd. for their sevon-a-s-ide tournament
so as not to clash with the combined race meeting to he held bv the West lard Racing and Grey Jockey Clubs on June 3rd. Seconded by Mr Dowell and carried.
