I here was a smaller yarding of more lambs, the quality being mixed and mostly small lots. Competition was backward. Values were lower, both in ewe and wether lambs.
The yarding of adult store sheep ■showed an easing off in numbers, ano values were irregular, with a dragging rendenov.
I here was a lull yarding of fat sheep, with many southern consignments. there was no improvement in values. Rest heavy wethers sold 14s to IBs, medium wethers Its 9d to 13s 9d, light from 7s 9d ; best prime ewes to 15s 4d, prime lOs to 12s, medium 8s fid to 9s 9d, light 6s fid to Bs, inferior from 4s fid.
J liere was a large yarding of fat lambs with a fair percentage of prime lots. The sale opened at late rates, hardening at the closing stages. K: beav.v lambs sold at 20s 9d. prime 15s !'d to 17s fid, medium 14s fid to 15s fid, bghi 11s fid to 13s fid, plain from 10s. I hei o was a big yarding of fat pigs. 1 oi k was easier. There was a decided drop in baeoners .Porkers sold at 3os to 425, large 43s to 46s fid, choppers oils to 58s. fid. baeoners 47s fid to 54s fid .heavier is7s fid to £3 4s fid. Store pigs were easier. j
