NEW MOTOR VESSEL OTA 10. WELLINGTON, April 24. The new motor vessel Otaio made a record trip Home from Wellington to London via Panama. She left Welling, ton at 4 p.m. on March 23 and arrived at the Royal Albert dock at 11.30 a.ill, on April 23, the passage occupying 31 days 6 hours. Included in the time was tile necessary delay at Bullion to replenish oil, and the passage of the Canal. Actually the Otaio's performance is nearly a day better than tlr* previous record—the ffisaramea’s 32 days 4 liourp 22 minutes from wlmrl to dock last year and better than the Karamen’s actual steaming time of 31 days 12 hours 4 min.
