A prominent English sportsman. Sir Douglas Hall, who arrived in tile Dominion in February to spend several months fishing and shooting, has just returned to Christchurch from a derr_ stalking expedition in South Westland. Among the trophies were three twelvepointers and a fifteen pointer. Although the heads are rather lighter than the average for South Westland, the fifteen pointer has a spread of 40 inches and a length of 44 inches, and is a very impressive trophy.
