She i-<u-ried a very pretty bouquet of chrysanthemums and orchids. She was ai--1 ended by her two sisters. • Misses •Millie and Valerie Boyd, who .wore ankle length frocks of lemon and blue georgette respectively, finished with circles til gold lace—hand made, georette flowers, summer felt hats with bouquets to tone, completed the (‘banning toilettes. All the bouquets were gilts of Airs AY. Knowles. Rimu. The bridegroom was attended by his brother Mr T. O’Connor, who carried out his duties admirably. The Rev. Father Mnnvii officiated at the service. The happy couple left the Church to the strains of the Wedding March (played by Mrs Knowles) amid showers of conlofti. The wedding reception was held at .Mrs Preston's tea rooms, where the Bride's mother received her guests, wearing a smart frock of brown mornon in. with hat and fur to tone. The usual toasts wore duly honoured, while during the breakfast Mrs E. Stoop sung "The Rosary.” Later in the afternoon the happy couple left by ear on route for Wanganui where the honeymoon ns being spent. The bride travelled in a. smart blue morocain frock worn under a brown face cloth coat with hat and shoes to match. The happy couple received many useful and valuable presents including some substantial cheques.
