LEADERSHIP IN DANGER, (Australian Press Association.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 27. The “Telegraph” says:—“Mr Lang’s leadership of the State Labour Party was never in such danger of serious challenge as at present. The discontented faction within the Parliamentary Caucus are only awaiting a lead to come into the open witli definite attempt to depose their leader. The trouble, which was brought to bead by the closing of the Savings Bank, lias been kept out of sight only by the fact that tio met t'tig o c the caucus* ims been belli since then despite strong agitation for sttcli a meeting among tlie rank and file of the Party. Thanks to tlie efforts of Mr Lang Friday’s caucus lapsed for want of a quorum.”
