Mr dynes said—No. Mr Morley asked—Will the Government consider the possibility of permitting other distinguished exiles to live here. Mr Taylor asked wlmt extra cost iv»s involved in the reception of ox-l\iug Alfonso in London. The Speaker disallowed the questions-. Mr Brockway asked—Ai'e you prepared to grant an asylum to ex-King A h ouse. Mr CTyiu-s replied—This has not arisen. Mr Brock way—Ha s bo a visa allowing him to visit Britain. Mr Haycock asked—-Is lie a King or is he Mister Alfonso. Mr dynes said—Ex-King Allonso comes here under similar conditions, always prevailing at Royal visits. Mr Brown—ls it not a good British .principle not to hit a man when he is down. Conservative cheers and Labour cries of “Trotsky.” LONDON. Api il 23. The House of Lords continued wlittr sali> attention to the Land Utilisation Bill, introducing safeguards against extravagance, particularly the provisions aiming at plairig unemployed on small holdings. Tbe Lords also rejected a clause ompoworing Government to act in the 1 case of default of County Councus providing sufficient holdings.
