When M Tardieu, the new .Minister of Agriculture, motored to the Toulouse agricultural show, groups of Socialists hooted him after which they forced a police cordon to follow him, Socialists at a subsequent banquet bowled In the street in tbe hope of interrupting M. Tardieu’s speech. In retaliation of a police attempt aj. dispersal, they used sticks, stones and chairs snatched from cafes. Several demonstrators were injured.
