Limited. an important independent Canadian firm of newsprint paper manufacturers has announced at its local offices that beginning on May Ist, the price of newsprint paper will he reduced by ■five dollars per ton. with a reduction of three dollars per ton retrospective to January Ist. 1931 to he in effect until May Ist. .Simultaneously, despatches from Montreal have indicated tliaf the .Mill i-bi Canada l Paper St. Lewrene- Corporation is instituting the same decrease. ft is also believed that oth'*r Concerns will soon follow suit.
