GENEROUS BEQUESTS

WELLINGTON WOMANS WILL. WELLINGTON, April Id. The will of the late Mr s Emma Jane Kennedy, of Wellington, who died in February, contains provision lor the following legacies:— JC4OO to the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association. £250 to the Anglican Boys’ Home. Lower Hutt. £250 to St. Mary’s Home (Church of England), Karori. £250 to the Wellington Young Women’s Christian Association. £l5O to the Rev. Thomas Eielden Taylor, for such cha-ritahle purposes as he thinks fit. £IOO to the choir of St. Paul’s Anglican Clmreli, Wellington. £IOO to the Wellington Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The residue of the estate is to be divided into two equal portions, one to bo paid, as the “Atohison-Konnody bequest,” to the St. Paul’s, Wellington. Endowment Fund Trust Board for addition to the capital of the omlowm nl fund administered by the hoard; and the other portion to be invested and the income paid to the Wellington Free Kindergarten Association. It is estimated that the amount which will ultimately he available from these two bequests will be in the vicinity of £4500. A number of books have been banded to the Alexander Turnbull Library, and several articles of vertu to the Dominion Museum.
