SPEAKER’S DEATH. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright), MONTREAL. April 9. A message Irom Aiken. in Ninth Carolina, records the death ot the I Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. Mr Nicholas Longworth, aged 62. Irom pneumonia. He contracted pneumonia on Monday, dying on Wednesday. Ills widow is the eldest daughter of (lie late President Roosevelt. A lurther message stales M l ' l.oiigworth died in the presence of his wife, who formeily was known as “Princess Alice” Roosevelt, daughter oi* the former President. The deceased will he buried in Ohio, and the ceremonies will la* attended by national and foreign notables.
