Twenty-three members of the House of Commons including Sir John Simon and .Mr Lee Smith, representing wool constituencies, jointly appealed for a wool industries fair at Bradford in ■July. They point out that Bvitu-b cloth which lias been famous for sixhundred years, is still the finest in the world. ihe manufacturers are most enterprising, producing new designs and they emphasise that the prospects of a wool fair, in view of the success of the recent: cotton fair at White City in which orders valued an five an 1 ii-qiiartei 1 millions were booked in a fortnight.
