The vocalists lor this evening at IYA are .Madame Cora Melvin (soprano) and Mr Norman l)a v (baritone), already well known to listeners. They will lie heard in solos and duets. Miss Doris .Moore (popular contralto) will also be singing. Mr A. B. Chappell, M.A.. will give bis weekly Topical Talk, and the Orchestral Octet will play, amongst other [lumbers, selections from “Tristan and Isolde’’ and “Lucia di biunmmiioor,”

A programme of a diversified nature will be presented by 2YA. Baritone solos by Mr \Y. K. Crowes will have orchestral accompaniment and violin obligati will be provided for contralto solos by Mr M. R. N’ieolson. As novelty numbers, Standee and Gibson will pre.se,nit, some of the latest popular airs. An expert sifi'lc’ur, Mr 10. T. Feeney, will contribute to the programme and a bright selection ol items will •be provided by the Salon Orchestra.

A silent day is not being observed by 3YA. A holiday programme will be presented. There will be popular vocal numbers by the Valencia Quartet, in concerted and solo form. M>' Jock Lockhart. Scottish humorist, will h,, contributing to the concert, also Miss Winifred Jeffries and Mr T. Kennedy (steel guitar and ukulele respectively), the Syncopators (violin and piano), Mr M. K. Withers (clarinet) and a mouth organ duo '.Messrs M. G. Laws and R. Johnstone), the last named being an excellent combination apimaring lor the first time. The Dunedin Tramways Band under the direction of Mr (.'has. T. Morgan, vill l> P •slavin''' (or 4YA. Many happy recollections will he aroused b\ the playing of “Gems of Old Ragland (by Riminer).
