In a special interview received late to-night from Lord Howe. Chichester described the trip from New Zealand to Norfolk as'uneventful, with a following wind. The anchorage at Norfolk was the worst in the world and damaged the floats which leaked. To-day's flight to Lord Howe Island was humpy. with a strong northeaster. The machine vibrated violently and it, was impossible to guess the altitude. The anchorage at Lord Howe was ideal. He found the Island one of the prettiest.
