.screened tlio highly-eulogised talking, - singing and dancing entertainment, “Paramount on Parade,’’ for which is claimed the distinction of being the biggest musical comedy attraction yet submitted to the public. Maurice Chevalier is in the picture, and lie will sing “The Apache "Dance” scena. “All I Want is Just One Girl,” and “Sweeping the Clouds Away.’’ a very raiding melody. Everybody's favourite, Ruth Gliatterton, will show at her best in the dramatic story, with song, “My Marine,” assisted by a strong company of singing soldiers and actors. Richard Avion, Jean Arthur. W illiam Austin, Mitzi Green, George Bancroft, Clara Bow, Clive Brook. Evelyn Brent. Gary Conner, Nancy Carroll, Boon Errol, Sheets Gallagher, Helen Kane, Larry Green, Abe Lyman arid bis band, Dennis King, Fre'tlrio March, Nino Martini. Zelma O’Neil. William Powell, Charles Rogers, Lilian Roth, and others too numerous to mention, all appear to advantage in this biggest of big- comedies. Not walking through it for the value of their names, but each acting a real role along the lines which made them famous for startling patrons with delightfully new and different talents? Beautiful tochnicolour Sequences and 1,000 gorgeous costumes were especially designed and used in the production.
