Religious opinion throughout Germany is deeply concerned regarding Communists proposals to hold under order* from -Moscow, an anti-Easter meeting. The .Minister ('or the Interior now stales the recent decree empowers the prevention of demonstrations simultaneously. The .Minister urged the religious bodies )o modify their attitude towards their opponents. The decree was first used to-day when a police official summonly (stopped a meeting ot Communist Proletariat of Free Thinkers League in Berlin, whereupon a member of the Communist Concert Party apjieared dressed as a priest and performed a step dance. An at-, tendance of several thousands at first uproariously resented the police interference, but later dispersed quietly.
