MEETING OF POST AND TELEGRAPH EMPLOYEES. (By Telegraph—Ter Tress Association) PALMERSTON X., March 30. The Dominion Executive of The Post and Telegraph Employees Association held an important meeting at the week end to consider the line of action by the whole Public Sendee to furnish an organised opposition when the Finance Bill is carried. A resolution was passed that an attempt be made ultimately to have installed a system, whereby tlie determination of Public Servile salaries and conditions lie removed from the political arena. At the re-union of the Palmerston North brand) on Saturday evening, reference was made to the pending salary cuts.
