CALCUTTA. .March 26
Burma rebels are again active frequently clashing with Government forces. A party of second and fifteenth Punjabis yesterday killed twenty-two rebels in an encounter in a forest near Tharrawnddy. Giving evidence at the Royal Ascot inquiry, the driver ot the slow train said lie halted at Leighton Buzzard. He saw the express pass the home signals at danger, travelling at sixty miles an hour. He feared an accident would happen-. The junction signalman at Leighton Buzzard gave evidence that lie noticed the express travelling faster than usual consequently he did not lower the home signals. Ho expressed the- speed to he twenty miles an hour. The express passed the home signal at danger. He estimated the speed of the express lielore the derailment at fifty-five miles ucr hour.
