RAIN AT NAPIER
LARGE NUMBER OF REFUGEES RETURNING. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) NAPIER, March 27. Rain continued throughout the night, the total fall being one inch thirty-three points. The indications suggest an improvement. A large, number of refugees are still returning. GOOD RAIN. WAIROA, March 27. Light, steady rain commenced yesterday morning and still continues. J't is doing mi immense amount of good to the parched countryside, and breaking up a disastrous drought. Many houses, not yet repaired, have developed leaks, but onlv 'slight damage. jm
