JEVPRYBDDYS PICTURES. “SEVEN DAYS’ LEAVE”. To ensure that every detail of sets wardrobe, character and speech may bet'absolutely authentic, three technical .directors assisted in the production of “Seven Days’ Leave.” Gary Cooper’s first starring picture for Paramount, which shows at the Princess Theatre to-night (Thursday). . The story of “Seven Days’ Leave” is laid in war-time London, and the numerous characters portrayed in the production include London cockneys, shop-keepers, street hawkers, British officers and members of the Canadian | regiment of the famous “Black | Watch.” i Bertram .Johns, English character, cockney types, has charge of the actor, who has made a study of wardrobe in ■ the Lorfdon sequences. Frank Terry, former London music hall sequence. Lieutenant-Colonel McDonnell, formerly of the Canadian Princess Pats, made, certain that every detail of uniforms and military procedure was correct. “Seven Days’ Leave,” was adapted from the stage play, “The Old j Lady Shows Her .Medals,” by Sir j James M. Barrie.
