AN INDIAN SCHEME

A scheme drawn up by Gandhi lor the disposal of' stocks of British and ■foreign cloth at present hold by dealers ijhraughtfut imliia, was accepted by representatives of important mills in Bombay, Baroda and Almednbad. The conference agreed tiiat a new agency be formed, with the object of re-exporting to countries outside of India, the existing stock of foreign cloth, losses being shared by merchants and congress. The merchants have undertaken to cease dealing in foreign cloth.
